Post Types

A Post Type is the move a post makes, not its format. “Teach” explains something; “Contrarian” pushes against the received wisdom; “Story” tells one. It’s the difference between choosing a topic and choosing what you actually do with it.

When you generate, you can ask for an exact mix - “2 Teach, 1 Contrarian” - and that’s what lands, each post genuinely making its own move, tagged so you can see the spread at a glance. Leave it unset and you get a natural spread across types.

Each brand carries its own set of post types (Teach, Contrarian, Story, Commentary, Offer, Customer story, and so on). Each one defines the move it makes and how it fails if done wrong - and that wording is injected straight into generation, so editing a post type is editing the prompt.

Manage them under Brand & Voice → Post Types.
